Group Therapy on C-PTSD and Addiction
You're not alone—and you were never meant to heal alone. Group therapy offers a safe and supportive space to share, listen, and grow alongside others who understand. With guided discussions and therapeutic tools, you’ll build connection, gain new perspectives, and discover strength in community.
Our group counselling sessions for Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) offer a supportive and confidential space for individuals navigating the lasting effects of chronic trauma. Whether your trauma stems from childhood experiences, relationships, or repeated exposure to distress, you are not alone.
In this group, participants will gain a deep and compassionate understanding of what C-PTSD truly is—beyond the labels. Together, we explore how trauma has shaped our thoughts, emotions, nervous systems, relationships, and sense of self in often unseen but powerful ways and we explore ways to overcome.

We also acknowledge the role that addiction can play in coping with unresolved trauma. Many individuals turn to substances or behaviours in an attempt to numb emotional pain, regulate overwhelming feelings, or escape intrusive memories.
In our sessions, we create a non-judgmental space to gently explore these behaviours, understand their roots, and introduce healthier, more sustainable strategies for managing distress.

Through guided discussions, psychoeducation, grounding exercises, and peer connection, you’ll learn how trauma shows up in your everyday life and how to begin softening its grip.
You’ll also be introduced to tools that help foster emotional regulation, self-compassion, and a renewed sense of inner safety.
This group is not just about managing symptoms - it’s about reclaiming your story, making meaning of your journey, and connecting with others who truly understand.
