Rewind Therapy

Rewind Therapy - closure without disclosure -  is a gentle, non-invasive approach that allows individuals to gain relief from trauma or phobias without having to verbally revisit or relive the distressing experience. This technique enables the brain to 'recode' how the traumatic memory is stored - shifting it from an emotionally intense imprint to a neutral, manageable memory.

Rewind Therapy is especially effective for individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, or specific phobias. It offers a path to emotional relief by allowing clients to process past experiences without becoming overwhelmed. The technique helps the brain refile traumatic memories so they are no longer triggered involuntarily—bringing those memories under control, while preserving voluntary recall. Many clients describe feeling lighter, calmer, and more emotionally resilient after just a few sessions, often for the first time in years.

For single-event traumas, such as accidents or isolated incidents, two to three sessions are often sufficient.
For multiple-event traumas—including experiences like combat, sexual abuse, or domestic violence—each memory can be addressed individually across separate sessions. However, in some cases, the way involuntary recall presents may allow for multiple events to be resolved within a single session.
