Course Information

Delivery Mode: Face-to-face

Duration: 12 Hours (2 days)

The Standard Mental Health First Aid course empowers participants with the skills to provide initial support to an adult experiencing a mental health problem or crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the situation resolves.

Participants will learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions in adults, identify when issues may be emerging or worsening, and gain insight into available treatments and support services.

Using a practical, evidence-based action plan, participants build the confidence to approach someone they’re concerned about, engage in supportive conversations, offer relevant information, and encourage the person to access professional help or other appropriate support options.
